Author Registration and Submitting your Articles is free :

1. Submitting your articles in absolutely free.
2. Your articles should written in English for publication to English speaking and reading countries.
3. The articles that you submit must be your own work. You may not submit articles written by other authors and the content must be unique. No rebranded articles allowed, you must be the sole copyright holder for each article you submit. Articles written by a ghost writer are perfectly acceptable as long as they are being used only by YOU.
4. Submitting multiple copies of the same article using different titles, or with only slight modifications is strictly forbidden, one copy of the same information is enough!
5. By submitting your articles to Article Vista, you grant us the right to publish your articles. We may publish your article anywhere on our website, blog, or syndicate through RSS. We may also change where it appears, including the category, at any time.
6. You grant others the right to publish your articles. Other Article Vista users have the right to publish your articles on their websites, in their newsletters, ezines or blogs, and more as long as the article is left in the original state. This includes the resource box which provides you credit as the author of the content.
7. No affiliate links allowed. The articles that you submit should not contain affiliate links. It is acceptable, however, to mention the URL's of helpful sites or your own website (MAX 3 times) which redirects to the recommended affiliate product.
8. Submitting your articles does not entitle you to financial compensation of any kind. You will not receive compensation from Article Vista or the users of our directory for articles you submit.
9. By becoming a member you will be placed into our system and notified of changes that affect you as an author at this site. If something affects you as a writer, or if there are technical changes, maybe something in the 'Terms of Service' or these guidelines that affects everyone was recently added ... you'll want to know. Your email address will never be given to ANYONE, but if you want to participate in this information portal, then please understand that this site must be in communication with it's members from time to time. This is a membership requirement. We never abuse the priviledge of having your email address to 'market' to you. Being published authors we realize the sheer number of emails that some article directories send out. And we will never waste your time with frivolous marketing. The only communication you will recieve from Article Vista is with information that pertains to you as an author or publisher. Since we have both authors and publishers on the list, sometimes a mailing may not apply to you. Please simply discard it.
10. Submitting an article in no ways guarantees inclusion in our directory - We reserve the right to reject an article submission for any reason.

Author Name and Alternate Author Names

Your Full Author Name

1. In order to submit your articles, you will first need to create your "Author Name". This serves as your public profile and identifies you as the author of the article.
2. The author name must comprise of a Full First Name and a Last Name (First Name and Last Initial, or First Initial and Last Name, or two Initials are not allowed).
3. We do not allow adjectives, nouns, email addresses and other descriptors to be used as your author name.

Pen Names

1. We only allow ONE member account per person. However, you may have unlimited "Pen Names" under your account. This situation will apply if you are an author assistant submitting articles on behalf of the authors.
2. The same Author Name conditions above shall apply to Pen Names.

You can create your Author Name/Pen Names by logging into your member's account.

Article Content:

1. Articles submitted must be in English.
2. Articles must be spell checked and proof read for grammatical errors prior to submitting. Do not submit articles filled with spelling errors and bad grammar. We do monitor article submissions and we will reject content that doesn't meet this requirement

Formatting

Title

1. No Author or Website Name is allowed in the title or article body.
2. Article title must NOT contain all caps.
3. HTML tags are not allowed in the title.
4. Do not put a "period" or "full-stop" at the end of the title.

Article Summary

1. THIS IS IMPORTANT!
   Every article must have an article summary. This serves as the description meta tag for the page your article is on that will be submitted to the search engines.
2. You may use the first paragraph of your article as the article summary if you do not want to take the time to write one.
3. No HTML in whatever form is allowed in the article summary.
4. No Author Name, Company Name, Website Address and/or Email Address are allowed in the article summary.

Body

1. The article must be 400 words minimum and 2500 words maximum. (Ideal article size recommended is between 500 to 1000 words.)
2. Do not repeat the article title in the article body.
3. Do not submit articles that are pre-formatted with excessive hard carriage returns such as articles that are preformatted to 60-65 characters per line. The article text should flow continuously and wrap naturally. To effect a new line, hit the "Enter" key once; to effect a new paragraph, hit the "Enter" key twice to create a vertical white space.

Website Links

1. Only a maximum of (3) links (active and inactive) of websites that you own, control or have an interest in, are allowed per article.
2. Please confine the links to the resource box.
3. Do not include the same link or url more than once.
4. THIS IS IMPORTANT! Use only full "http://" protocol for linking to sites. HTML linking code is automatically stripped out. This is for your benfit. If someone prints the article..."Cell Phones" it will NOT bring them back to your site, but http://www.yoursite.com will.

Affiliate Links

1. Do not include any direct affiliate links in the article as it will be rejected. If you are promoting affiliate programs via articles (these must be articles that you have 100% sole ownership and copyrights), you will need to use your own website link(s) and redirect it to your affiliate website. The link(s) cannot be placed at the body of the article; it must be strictly confined to the author resource box.
2. PLEASE! Do not submit articles that are owned and copyrighted by well known authors on the internet and substitute the link at the resource box with your affiliate URL. These articles will be summarily rejected. Also, your account will be deleted if you are caught doing so.
