24 has become a phenomenon among fans. This is no understatement. In all of my years of watching TV, I have never come across a more rabid and crazy fan base than those who watch 24. Jack Bauer has become this insane folk hero, who somehow remains a moral figure, even after he rips peoples necks off with his teeth. The Bauer cult is not only created in an ironic manner, but is also born out of legitimate enjoyment. No one could argue, really, that 24 is a bad show. There are those who aren’t fan - Dancing with the Stars - An Alternate Version By : Groshan Fabiola
Dancing with the Stars is heading into a crucial time in its existence. Will it continue the trend of gimmicky reality shows that flame out quickly after initial, massive success? Or will it follow in the way of a show like Survivor, who survived the initial hype and has become a stalwart on prime time TV for almost a decade. Dancing with the Stars enjoyed its highest rated season this past Fall in its short lived existence, but I would argue that the direction it takes moving forward from the F - The World Needs Bad Singers By : Groshan Fabiola

Survivor Fiji is set up to be one of the better Survivors in recent memory. It is naive to think that TV shows, even as they enter into the double digits in seasons. Survivor, although a veteran of the reality TV show game, is still an evolving franchise. It is a living, breathing dynasty that only remains popular as a result of its ability to adapt. Survivor, in last season’s very popular run, showed that a diverse cast was the way to go. - 24: Anticipation Report By : Groshan Fabiola

The sixth season was hyped up to a remarkable degree, fans were deluged by constant promos on FOX and the footage that we all saw was more than incredible. The end of season 5 set up such a great scenario for the sixth season, with Jack Bauer being captured by the Chinese and held captive for an extended period of time. The beginning of season 6 proved that not only was 24 as good as ever, they could ev - Top Ten Oscar Nominees Who Got Their Start on TV By : Groshan Fabiola
TV has always been a popular stepping stone on the way to Hollywood stardom. The film industry will always look upon television as the minor leagues, so to speak, a place where talent is harvested, personas invented. As such, the fact that so many Oscar nominees this year got their start in TV is not a surprise. Most acting nominations seemed to come from either former American television actors or foreign actors. This makes the film industry even more like the major leagues. A recent piece at Buddytv.com asked ‘Has 24 become too preachy?’, perhaps a better question is “Is 24 enough?” Ever since 24 debuted it has been decried for its handling of ethnic stereotypes, particularly those of the middle eastern descent. Is 24 just getting it wrong? Is the public too critical of 24? Or is 24 actually hitting it on the head? - Heroes and the Evolution of Comic Books By : Groshan Fabiola
Heroes came out of nowhere at the beginning of this TV season and has turned into a runaway hit show. This was not entirely unexpected; NBC had a lot of confidence in Heroes from the beginning. Blame it on LOST. The ABC show set the precedent of killing a major character every sweeps period and the result was pure ratings gold. LOST managed to dominate every sweeps period by keeping fans guessing which of their most beloved characters would be biting the dust.
