Could you be looking for something that promises a good return on investment? Something that will give you a great immediate return in the form of increased quality of life? Something guaranteed to give you a long term yield as well with the energy, vitality and vigor to pursue life to the fullest?

You hear a lot of people talking about financial investments. If you start treating your health and wellness as an investment though rather than just leaving it up to chance or 'Lady Luck' would this be of greater value to you during the course of your lifetime?

This investment that you can make is called proper exercise. The requirement to start this investment is you have to put aside 2-3 small blocks of time each week. It really is a small down payment and your investment will grow and the returns are guaranteed.

Every single time you workout you can think of it like putting a deposit into your bank account. If you regularly invest a modest amount of your time and a bit of effort, you will find as the years go by that you have accumulated savings in three areas:

Firstly, you will save hard cash by not needing to spend money or time on doctors, tests, medications and specialists.

Second, you will save yourself from the emotional stress and worry, aggravation and sheer inconvenience to your life that accompanies sickness and disease. And on the flip side it will make you feel really good as exercise is the best known and effective anti-depressant there is.

Third, although exercise does take some of your time but, it will actually save you time in the long run. Regular exercisers explain that because exercise gives them more strength and energy, helps them focus and puts things in perspective, they are more efficient and therefore more productive.

One of the most aging processes we experience is the loss of our precious muscle tissue starting in our mid 20's that continues throughout life at around one half pound per year.
After age 50 this loss accelerates to double the rate sucking our life force from us. That is of course only if we let it.

You can stop much of this loss with your strength training program. Holding on to your lean body mass could well be the best investment you could ever make in your entire life. You will create a better way of life for yourself by helping to maintain your strength, body weight, bone structure and youthfulness.

By simply starting to exercise and sticking with it, you have the opportunity to reduce diseases like the 'big three' heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. Additionally, exercise helps contribute to healthy mental states, keeping you smarter, saner and happier.

If you are thinking about putting off exercise for another day, think again about the huge health risk you are taking and what you could be paying in health returns in the long run.
If you start treating your health as an investment though, you could find that physical strength and fitness is a fantastic investment worth more than any amount of cold hard cash you could ever accumulate. Without health how could wealth ever be an asset?

You do have a very big influence and a great deal of control about your health and wellness. In fact your exercise program could well be the investment opportunity that pays you the greatest dividend of your life.

Humans were not designed to live sedentary lives so protect yourself from ending up unable to care for yourself and spending your last years in a nursing home. Start making your investment now so you can remain strong and independent so your health span matches your life span.
