This year, one manufacturer is intent on moulding the universe of camera-enabled mobile phones. That phone-maker is Sony Ericsson, and they are determined to not only corner the universe with top-end camera phones, but low-end handsets, too!
Camera phones through the ages - the Sony Ericsson legacy
It's fitting, really, that Sony Ericsson should be the ones leading the way in the revolution amongst camera-equipped mobile phones. After all, it was them who began it all, way back in 2002. Let's remember, they were the first company to unveil a mobile phone that'd got a camera built in, in the British marketplace. That mobile was the Sony Ericsson P800, but it didn't get the mass market penetration Sony Ericsson wanted, what with it being a really high-end smartphone. But, their most iconic device ever was about to be unveiled, and that one WOULD have great market penetration. It was the Sony Ericsson T610, and it entirely altered the mobile landscape. Here was a phone that stood head and shoulders over the rival mobile phones around it. It was small, it was sexy, and the country went MENTAL for it. Plus, let's not forget that the Sony Ericsson T610 also had an integrated camera, and that it was really the first phone to hit the wider market, and make people think, 'Wait a sec, we really do want cameras in our mobile phones!'
Now, the camera phone world has split, into entry-level devices, and high-end camera-equipped mobile phones; and Sony Ericsson really badly want to rule both!

Combine that with an amazing multimedia browser, WiFi, HSDPA and built-in GPS, and you have to come to the conclusion that the Sony Ericsson C905 is, without doubt, the king of the hill!
