Portable pop up displays can be a real boon for those doing trade show and convention exhibiting on a smaller scale. Perhaps the greatest part of using pop up portable displays is the ease of portability without special shipping or packing concerns. If the team on the exhibit circuit is just a couple of representatives, or even just one, a great display is easy to transport and set up when portable pop up exhibits are chosen. Exhibit displays fall into three main categories, the first and simplest being the portable pop up displays we will discuss in detail. The other main types are modular displays, which are a bit more complicated and costly, which are nearly as portable as pop ups. These simulate custom work and can be easy to assemble, but must usually be crated and shipped by common carriers. Custom displays are more elaborate, harder to set up and far more expensive. A custom display van usually requires a crew to set up and a truck of it's own to ship displays. In comparison, pop up displays have easy to break down parts that are easy to transport in any vehicle. They're easy to bring to different locations and don't require much room during transport. There are a wide variety of types of portable pop up displays. Each division of the display might have a different appearance. Some of the finishes include cloth, a brightly colored plastic, or virtually anything you can imagine. The divisions and panel coverings are often magnetically connected, allowing for easy assembly. Pop up units typically are used very conventionally as a regular box shaped booth. But they can also be used to create interesting shapes that will really catch the eye of people walking near your exhibit. So don't just use these units to make a box, use your imagination and think outside the box! Many pop up portable displays are designed to fit in 8' to 20' areas but there a numerous alternative options. First some sort of a framework is built to make the rear "wall" of an exhibit, and then different panels are connected to the framework to display posters, illustration or something else that is needed. Considerations for portable pop up displays range from style to expense. These can cost several thousand dollars, even though they are still the most economical of the professional type of display. Another thing to think about is how many loose parts and components a system has. The more "pieces" the more likely you are to lose some and the more likely it is that assembly will be more difficult and time consuming. Opt for fewer parts whenever possible. Finally, the choice of which product to buy depends on the look you desire. Some companies may offer great traditional booths, but not the modern, hexagonal work of art exhibit you have in mind.
