Feeling too much stress? Do you want somewhere you can relax and unwind after a hard day at work? This is one of my favorite garden design ideas and it will work wonders in your life. Meditation Garden: It does not matter where you live or how big your yard is. You can still reap all of the great benefits of a meditation garden. There is more than one meditation garden design ideas you could go with. Finding one that resounds with you is the best choice. Here is a great design idea for a small back yard that will work anywhere. Of course the reason for having a meditation garden in the first place is to give yourself a place to sit down and meditate, or at least to think quietly and enjoy the surrounding environment. Make sure you only include items and decorations into your meditation garden that bring peace to your mind. The first item you may want to add is something really comfortable to sit on. Possibly a bench, swing or even just a nice chair. If you have a great tree with an outstretched limb, try hanging a nice swing to sit on. Of course you could always just go for a nice garden bench. It's all up to you and what suits you best. You can use your own personal garden design ideas to choose what you want. Another nice element to add to a meditation garden is a water element. This is great for relaxation, and it will attract peaceful little critters and flying friends to share in the beauty of your garden. You can choose to have a bird bath, a fountain, or a small pond. Having a Koi Pond is especially great for meditation gardens. Any of these would be a great addition to your meditation garden. Make sure you can see your water feature from where ever your sitting area is. After you have your water feature in place, surround it with some beautiful flowers and plants to really set the mood. One of the greatest garden design ideas is to place stepping stones from your sitting area to the water feature. That way you can stroll through with bare feet. Make sure to put the smaller plants in front of the taller ones. You want to make sure you can see them all. Use your imagination and creativity when it comes to your garden design ideas. You will love having your very own place that is peaceful, beautiful and calm.
