If you can be open-minded about viewing different types of movies, you can find many hours of unexpected entertainment. No, you won�t find free downloads of current blockbusters, but you will find plenty more to keep you interested. Whether you like a good Alfred Hitchcock thriller, a Wes Craven horror blood-bath, or any other genre of movie, you can find a way to view some or all of the movies on the internet. Not all movies are available in their totality for free download. As a matter of fact, the majority of what you will find free to view consists of trailers, clips, extra footage and information about the shooting, scenes and the actors. Viewing trailers is actually a good way to decide if you�re interested in seeing the entire movie. Turner Classic Movies is a site well worth visiting if you are a fan of the classics. Legal vs. Illegal � If you find a site promising free downloads of movies which are currently in theaters, they are illegal sites. These movies are pirated, do not belong to the website and they have no legal right to distribute these films. It may be tempting to see the new Indiana Jones movie for free, but you might want to think twice before downloading it. You can be prosecuted for downloading illegal movies � that should be enough of a deterrent. If it is not, however, these pirated copies are usually very poor quality, sometimes so bad you can�t tell what�s going on and the sound quality tends to be very poor. If you have a family, it is worth considering exposing your children to older films. Many youngsters are only familiar with modern day Cineplex blockbusters. You may introduce them to a whole new world by downloading free classics or documentaries.
